Massimo Bonfantini
    Since 1995 Massimo Achille Bonfantini has been a confirmed associate professor of Semiotics at Politecnico di Milano. At present he is a member of the teaching staff of the Doctorate in Industrial Design and Multimedia Communication. He is also director of the Semiosis series (Esi) and co-ordinator of the Club Ps˜mega, a society of inventiveness scholars and operators.

Andrea Branzi
    Architect and designer, associate professor of Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano, born in Florence, lives and works in Milano.
    Until 1974 he was a member of "Archizoom Associati", the first Italian avant-garde group of Radical Architecture, whose projects are preserved at the "Centro Studi e Archivio della Comunicazione" of the University of Parma, while the photo archive is preserved at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris.

    He is full time professor of Materials Science and Technology in the Department of Applied Physical Chemistry of the Politecnico di Milano, where he teaches Materials Science and Technology (Industrial Design degree) and Biomaterials II (Engineering degree).

Marisa Galbiati
    Professor of Scenography and Multimedial Communication at Politecnico di Milano.
    Main interests are communication strategies and events, from the design dimension to the urban scale in their theoretical and operative aspects, with specific attention to the esthetical models that the iconical languages have developed in different historical periods (photography, cinema, advertising, video-art, digital languages), as well as to their use in urban contexts.

Stefano Maffei
    Architect and designer, working and living in Milan. His thesis in Architecture was supervised by Tomas Maldonado, and his Ph.D. in Industrial Design by Ezio Manzini. He teaches Industrial Design at Industrial Design Faculty of the Polytechnic University of Milan, and he is a researcher of the Design Research Agency SDI (Sistema Design Italia_INDACO_Faculty of Industrial Design_Polytechnic University of Milan).

    His current research and work interest are: theory of innovation, design driven innovation in local production systems, community building practices and methods, ethnographic observation.

Alberto Seassaro
    Since 2000 dean of the III Faculty of Architecture of Politecnico di Milano.
    Graduated in 1964 in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano. Professor of Experimentations of Systems and Components. Since 1964 he has been working on the project and the visual arts camp, conducting personal and collective exhibitions, national and international ones and receiving acknowledgements. Since 1964 has been conducting didactic and research activities with directive and administrative role, within universities structures and research institutions of Politecnico di Milano. Is the president of the POLI.design for the promotion, the applied research, the editorial and the continuing education for the design.

Francesca Tosi
    Architect an researcher, she develops her research and teaching activities in the fields of Ergonomics and Design for all.
    From 1986 to 1996 was involved in research and in didactic activities at the University of Firenze and Pescara, and at the Politecnico di Bari, where in 1995-96 was a visiting professor of "Progettazione esecutiva dell’architettura".
