Arif Özver Ergin Middle East Technical University Implementation of an Usability Analysis on the Case of a New Product Development Last years alone, the significance of the ergonomics in the product design has been argued in the design scene. Researchers studying ergonomics and design suggest that a methodological ergonomic approach is necessary for the systematic implementation of the product design. The most important advantage that ergonomics bring to the product design is the application of a proper methodology, which aims at gaining information about the user, the product, the environment, their interactions and the actual needs, as well as the problems of the user.
