Every case –like every crime- has its own story. But it doesn’t mean that design is not open to scientific generalization. Design is as scientific as geneology and every design object has its own genetic codes developed in an evolution process. Apart from basic principles of Darwin (like “selection of the fittest”) and Spencer (like “evolution from simplicity to complexity”) a recent approach to evolution (co-evolution rather than evolution) provides an enligthining set of tools for the private investigator called “design researcher”.
