and system innovation
This
contribution intends to deal with the relationship between research and
industrial design, focusing on the specific sphere of systems innovation.
The paper is divided into three parts: a theoretical framework for the theme
of systemic innovation that highlights the complex of variables and dynamics
that characterize complex decision-making processes; a second part, in which
the relationship between industrial design and research is understood to
generate and orient processes of system innovation and, in particular, to
define new methodological instruments for implementing system innovation;
and finally, a third part presenting a sort of problem-setting in the perspective
of design driven system innovation.
